With God, there is always hope.

Because of who God is and especially His love for His created world, there is always hope in each and every situation.  The only time when there is no hope is when someone continues to deliberately and consistently resist and reject God and His ways.  So as long as we continue to live in this present life, then there is always hope that God will do new and better things than we have already experienced.  God never promises that He will necessarily do all the things we might desire, but He is actively at work doing all those things for His eternal good.

Physical death is not only the last enemy we will face on this earth (1 Corinthians 15:26), but it also the reality that changes hope into sight.  Death marks the end of this present life and whatever choices and decisions we have made here in this present life will be sealed for all eternity—either in a glorious eternity with God in heaven or an eternity under His judgment.  But until then, there is always the hope that God will do something new and special in our lives.
